Loved every aspect of our trip, first class all the way. Had not been to a ballet and that was so breathtaking, especially in the beautiful, historic theater. Great, great trip!
Best staff service and literature I have ever had from anyone, and I have cruised a lot!!
We were a group of 18 people and they were all really great. Having a nice group, plus a good tour director really makes the trip. And having all tips included makes it so much easier.
The scenery was beautiful, the historic buildings, especially the cathedrals and of course the Alhambra were gorgeous. The live entertainment was the best part of the trip: the two flamenco shows, the Portuguese Fado singer on board, the crew show, and especially the horses, at the bull farm and the Bodega in Jerez. All very memorable!
Aside from the dramatic sights of temples, Buddhas and stupas that dot the country, what really topped it off was our private ride in a traditional longboat at sunset, sipping cool wine as we approached the U Bein Bridge at sunset.
It would be a sin to want something more from this trip...outstanding guides...hotels were beautiful, especially the last one...Entire trip was out of this world.
Anyone with even a passing knowledge of French wine has likely heard the name St. Emilion, but it’s a safe bet that most do not know the who, what or where behind the name. We include a visit to the town of St. Emilion and its surrounding wine region during our 12-day Rivers of Bordeaux journey. Let us introduce you to what we think is one of France’s most charming small cities.
